Those browsers which cannot display frames will display the content within the noframes tag. Use this tag to provide a link to a non-frame section, an explanation of why the site has disappeared and a link to a site where the user can download a new version of the browser. There are few browsers that do not now support frames but most sites still use the noframes tag to avoid leaving anyone stranded in cyberspace.

Used in a frame declaration (itself within a frameset) to instruct the browser not to show scrollbars nor allow the user to resize this frame by using the mouse. Make sure all content is visible in all text sizes before using this attribute as any missed text - including links - will be hidden to the user.
